10.13 (1781)

Hey Frank!

Whilst doing some general reading for uni, I came across the date 10.13 once again. I’d say religious freedom — even if ‘late’ and not for everyone — may be something that Chris could welcome in a list of 1013 events :) .

“The Edict of Tolerance was first issued by the Holy Roman Emperor Josef II October 13 in 1781, and extended three months later in January 1782. It granted political and religious rights to religious minorities (sadly, excluding Jews).”

Once I find something on 17.11 (outside of Wikipedia I mean), I’ll e-mail it to you. ;)

Kind regards,

Ulrike
